Tuesday August 1

Today we went to Buckingham Palace, home of the Queen of England. We were able to walk through the state rooms. The interiors, designed by John Nash, were magnificent. Every room was differently ornate. I felt so grateful to have had the experience to be exposed to some of the most beautiful interior design in the world. There was an exhibit in honor of the Queen’s 80th birthday. It had on display 80 of her finest dresses and jewelry from the last 7 decades. There was unbelievable detail in those gowns and the jewels were breath taking. There were photos of her wearing some of the dresses and it was so cool to be seeing it in person. Off to Paris in the morning!!!

This is the garden view of Buckingham Palace.
I loved the ducks in the pond.

This is the grand stair case in Buckingham Palace.
There was so much gold detail and it was so beautiful.

This is the picture gallary, the table was so long.

wallcovering and the view of the
throne in the next room.
