Thursday July 13

Today we got up for a day of some major walking! We started out the day at the Victoria & Albert Museum, that was amazing!! Then we ate lunch in the courtyard. The Science Museum is where we went next, there was a lot of information presented in a fun and interesting way. The last museum of the day was the Natural History Museum. Then we went to the Serpentine Gallery, it was way cool. Then we walked to the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain at Hyde Park. We rested for a second (literally) then we went to dinner at a Japanese restaurant called Wagamama. My plate had tofu in it...I'll leave it at that. :) Then we had to design 3 carpet patterns from inspiration that was taken from the different museums. So we stayed up way late working on that.

(above) I saw this chair at the Victoria & Albert Museum (V&A)
and anyone who knows me knows why I fell in love!!!

(above) This was the escalator in the Natural History Museum.
It went up through the "earth" and was so cool inside.

(above) These trumpets were in the V&A, they were suspended
from the ceiling on the upper level and hung down to the
lower level. it was such a cool way to display something
that could otherwise be less interesting.

(above) This thing (I don't know what to call it exactly)
was so big! The Science Museum had way fun
exhibits that were interactive and really informative.

(above) This GORGEOUS bed was in the V&A.
It is so romantic. There were some really
amazing exhibits from ancient times to modern day.
The night before I had like 4 hours of sleep
so when I saw this bed I about drooled.
