Wednesday July 26

Today was Independent study day. Brighton, Katie, Kaylee, Megan and myself decided to go to “study” Ryde Beach on the Isle of Wight. We had to take a train and then a ferry to get the Isle. Then we walked down a long pier and over to the beach. The sand was surprisingly great! It was soft and there were hardly any rocks. We did laundry the other night so wdidn'tdn’t want to take our clean towels to the beach so instead we took a sheet off of our beds. didn'tidn’t absorb the water as good but kept most of the sand away. We ended up falling asleep for 4 hours (our skin will prove that). It was so nice to relax and the weather was perfect.















We've seen some really old castles that are great
shape today and this poor sand casdidn'tidnt last 1 day.
