Friday July 28

We woke up early today to catch a train to Edinburgh Scotland. We got there in the afternoon and went to the Edinburgh Castle. It was so amazing! It was like a whole village inside the castle walls. It is built up on the highest point and overlooks the whole city. There was such cool information and tributes to William Wallace. (My fiancé Tyler Wallace Lynch is named after him.) We saw the Scotland crown jewels and the dungeon, which was so cool! Then we walked down the cute streets and got some fudge at the fudge kitchen and I had my first European fish & chips experience. Then we got on the train and went to Glasgow, which is a city for shopping! We had to walk to a different station in Glasgow and passed so many great shops. We got on another train to Prestwick where Tyler’s grandma lives. She let us stay with her while we were there and she was such a sweetheart! We got a taxi to her house. When we got there she fixed us scones with butter and jam. We visited for a while and then went to bed because we were quite tired from our day’s journey.

I loved the way that the Edinburgh Castle looked
like it grew out of the ground. There was lava rock
as well that looked so neat against the castle's dark stone.

We are sitting on a cannon overlooking the city
of Edinburgh. You could see 360 degrees of the
city from the castle grounds, it was so beautiful.

Here we are posing prisoners in the dungeon, at
least they got to play Dominoes.

We could have stayed in this spot for hours. The city
with the historic buildings and the water in the distance.

Oh how clever! :) The Thistle is Scotland's National Flower.

Here is one of the many pictures I took of the view
of Edinburgh from the Edinburgh Castle.

A lot of the architecture was designed in
the gothic style. It was all blackened and
we asked around if there had been a fire
or something but couldn't find anything out.
It added such a gothfeeling to theght to the city.
I loved it all!

I thought it was neat that other people have as
much love and respect for dogs Is i do for mine. :)
